Before I came to Nagoya, I never thought I would see so many public clocks like this. I couldn’t relate to the significance of Nagoya having so many of these public clocks, nor could I find any relevant information online. All I knew at the moment was that at the main station of Nagoya, there was a big gold clock at one end of the exit and another silver clock at the other end of the exit 1. I also found more clocks on the streets while strolling. It’s hard to be late when clocks keep being shoved to your face like this.
